Overview

Skin Tyte treatment is performed on any area of the body where an improvement in your skin firmness is desired. Popular areas include the face, neck, hands, and chest. It is safe for all skin types.

Technology

Skin Tyte works by depositing infrared heat deep into the dermis, which is where our collagen and elastin fibers are found. The immediate response to the infrared heat exposure is a contraction of these fibers. Longer-term, fibroblasts (cells that make collagen) are activated - this stimulate the production of new collagen and elastin, in response to wound-healing, and continues to take place for up to 6 months after the initial heating.

  • Skin Tyte works by depositing infrared heat deep into the dermis, which is where our collagen and elastin fibers are found. The immediate response to the infrared heat exposure is a contraction of the collagen and elastin fibers. Longer-term, fibroblasts (cells that make collagen) are activated which stimulate the production of new collagen and elastin in response to wound-healing which continues to take place for up to 6 months after the initial heating. This tissue remodeling results in a thickening of the dermis and shrinking of elastin fibers plus the contraction of collagen, resulting in the improvement of the skin’s firmness.

    Aging, sun damage from UV light, smoking, stress, excessive alcohol intake and an unhealthy diet and lifestyle all contribute to the degradation of collagen and elastin in the dermis which over time, will cause the skin to loosen and sag.

    Skin Tyte treatment is safe for all skin types and can be performed on any area of the body where an improvement in your skin firmness is desired. Popular areas include the face, neck, hands, and chest. Most individuals require 3-6 sessions with each session spaced at an interval of 2-4 weeks.

  • We recommend a series of 3-6 performed at 2-4 week intervals. Then you can come in every few months for a maintenance session.
